For Christmas 2026, I have created three completely different holiday settings, each with its own atmosphere and story.

From a soft Christmas morning, to timeless holiday elegance, to a little bit of childhood magic — every set has been thoughtfully designed to create photographs that feel beautiful, warm, and timeless.

Whether you are celebrating your baby’s first Christmas, continuing your yearly family photo tradition, or simply want to preserve this season of your family’s life, these sessions are created to give you more than just Christmas pictures.

Soft Christmas Morning

Imagine a slow Christmas morning at home.

Soft light, cozy textures, Christmas trees, beautifully wrapped presents, warm blankets, and your family simply enjoying being together.

Soft Christmas Morning is the lightest and most relaxed of this year’s Christmas settings. The neutral palette, soft fabrics, white Christmas details, glowing lights, and delicate hanging stars create a bright and airy atmosphere while still feeling warm and festive.

This set is designed for natural interaction rather than only traditional posed photographs.

You do not need three different outfits for your Christmas session.

All three Christmas settings have been intentionally designed to complement one another, allowing you to choose one beautiful coordinated family look that photographs well throughout your entire session.

The easiest approach is to begin with warm, timeless neutrals and introduce one or two deeper seasonal colours.

You do not need every family member to wear the same colour.

Instead, think coordinated, not matching.

For example, one parent may wear cream, another camel or brown, while a child wears a soft burgundy, green, navy or subtle plaid accent.

A Few Things to Avoid

For the most timeless result, I recommend avoiding:

• Neon or extremely bright colours

• Large logos

• Graphic T-shirts

• Very busy patterns

• Too many competing colours

• Dressing every family member identically

Simple, classic clothing allows your expressions, connection and family to remain the focus of the photographs.

Booking Your Christmas Session

Christmas is one of the busiest and most anticipated times of the year in the studio, and session availability is limited.

To book your Christmas session, simply follow the online booking link and select your preferred available date, time and session option.

Your session is officially reserved once:

• Your booking information has been completed

• The photography agreement has been signed

• The $50 CAD retainer has been paid

The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

After booking, you will receive the information you need to prepare for your photoshoot, including session details and wardrobe recommendations.

Please arrive ready for your session and allow enough time to arrive without rushing.

Christmas sessions are scheduled throughout the day, and arriving on time ensures that you receive your full reserved session time.

Before Your Session

You do not need perfectly behaved children.

You do not need everyone looking at the camera in every photograph.

And you certainly do not need every moment to go exactly according to plan.
